From the moment he’s brought to life, Pinocchio’s impulsive, disobedient nature gets him into all sorts of trouble, causing heartbreak and distress for Geppetto. The story follows Pinocchio’s tumultuous journey of self-discovery, where his mischief and gullibility lead him into dangerous and often surreal situations, from encountering tricksters to being swallowed by a shark.
Set in 19th-century Italy, this classic children’s novel is more than just a fantasy tale about a puppet. It reflects the values of the time—obedience, respect for elders, and the consequences of deceit.
