Quick Guide for Mac

This crop pages tool lets you trim PDF margins from individual pages or whole pages, and it also helps you crop selected areas into images. Fast and easy to change the size of specific pages in your PDF file with the crop pages tool.

There are three methods to crop pages with PDF Reader Pro Mac.

1. From Page Display to Crop Pages:

•  Open your PDF file with PDF Reader Pro Mac;

•  Click Page Display in the toolbar;

•  Choose Crop on the sub-toolbar -> Crop All Pages/Crop Current Page/Auto Crop-Separate/Auto Crop-Combined/Select Area; 

•  If you choose Select Area, you can drag over to freely select the area you need in the file;

•  Click the selected area, and choose Crop -> Crop All Pages/Crop Current Page/Auto Crop-Separate/Auto Crop-Combined.

2. From Right-click to Crop Pages:

•  Open your PDF file with PDF Reader Pro Mac;

•  Right-click on the page;

•  Choose Crop -> Crop All Pages/Crop Current Page/Auto Crop-Separate/Auto Crop-Combined/Select Area/Crop Options;

•  If you choose Crop Options, you can set the size of the cropped pages, and then click Done.

3. From Main Menu to Crop Pages:

•  Open your PDF file with PDF Reader Pro Mac;

•  Click Tools on the main menu;

•  Choose Crop -> Crop All Pages/Crop Current Page/Auto Crop-Separate/Auto Crop-Combined/Select Area.

How to Undo Your Crop?

•  Choose Edit -> Undo Crop on the main menu;

•  Or you can tap ⌘+Z on your keyboard.

How to Export the Selected Area to An Image?

•  Click or right-click the selected area;

•  Choose Export on the right toolbar;

•  Click the format of the image that you want to export -> PNG/JPG/PDF;

•  Select the address where you want to save, and click Save.

Note：

*1. Crop All pages: Cropping all pages at once is easy for you with this tool.

*2. Crop Current Page: You can use this tool to crop the current page conveniently, without affecting other pages of this PDF file.

*3. Auto Crop-Separate: It is a tool that can crop pages automatically according to the different areas of content, and you can get different sizes of pages finally.

*4. Auto Crop-Combined: Using this tool, pages will be automatically cropped into the same size, which is helpful for you to print and staple PDF files.
