"Talia Hibbert remains consistent with writing cute and funny stories that have endearing lead characters. This was the most amusing of the three books in this series, thanks to all the banter and the sunshine/grumpy dynamic. She also continues to take care in expanding the leads’ vulnerabilities and internal struggles so that they're unique individually."

Our Review of Act Your Age

"Act Your Age" by Talia Hibbert is the third book in the Brown Sisters trilogy, and it’s as charming and funny as the previous ones. It centers around Eve Brown, the youngest sister, who struggles to find her life path.

After a series of missteps, she stumbles (literally and figuratively) into a job at a bed-and-breakfast run by the grumpy but endearing Jacob Wayne. Their opposites-attract romance is full of witty banter, humor, and emotional depth, making the story entertaining and meaningful.

This book is worth reading because it blends romance with personal growth. Eve's journey to self-discovery is relatable to anyone who has felt lost or directionless.

The inclusion of Jacob as a neurodivergent character also brings essential representation to the story, which has been praised for handling it with care.

A fun fact about the Brown Sisters series is that each book highlights different tropes, but they all feature confident, complex, and a bit quirky heroines. Many reviews mention how refreshing it is to read a romance where the lead character is unapologetically herself while also learning to grow.

Readers love the combination of laugh-out-loud moments with genuine heart.

The narrative is lighthearted yet still tackles themes of self-acceptance, responsibility, and the beauty of messy, imperfect lives.

If you're looking for a feel-good romance with a little bit of everything—humor, heart, and relatable struggles—this book is one to pick up.
