How to Search for a Word in a PDF

Our team has put together a step-by-step tutorial for how to conduct a search in PDF Reader Pro.



Step 1: Open Your PDF

Click "Open File" or drag your file into the reader.



Step 2: Locate the PDF Thumbnails Panel

Choose the magnifying glass on the far right of the panel.



Step 3: Type in Your Keyword

Your word will be highlighted (simply click to find).



How to Edit Keywords After a Search

There are other ways to make your PDF organised further according to the keywords you are locating. 

Search and Mark Up Keywords

If you are looking for mention of a certain topic, you can use the annotation tools to make a note of this or highlight certain keywords.

Step 1: Open Your PDF

Drag your file into the reader.



Step 2: Choose "Tools" on the Menu

Select the highlighter or note icon.



Step 3: Click and Select/Drag in Your PDF

Make your note or highlight the text that's relevant.



Search and Strikethrough Keywords

You can make edits to collaborate with team members by searching keywords and using the strikethrough option to suggest changes.

Step 1: Open Your PDF

Drag your file into the reader.



Step 2: Click on the Magnifying Glass
