Step 3: How to Make Your Cards Look Truly Professional
There are plenty of ways to make your business cards stand out. Check out our best practices:
- Add Embossing or Foil Stamping: Enhance your business card with embossing or foil stamping for that extra touch of sophistication. These features can significantly elevate the look and feel of your card, setting you apart from the competition.
- Choose Thicker Paper or Unique Materials: While many opt for standard card stock to save money, you can outshine your competition by selecting thicker paper or even plastic for your cards.
- Round the Corners: Standard business cards typically have sharp corners, but rounded corners provide a sleek and stylish appearance. This small detail can make a big difference in impressing your clients.
- Vary the Size: Don't feel restricted by the standard business card size. Consider a variety of sizes and shapes to help your card stand out. Larger cards provide more space for information, while smaller ones can be more memorable. Break the mold and choose a size that ensures your card gets a second look.
- Get Professional Printing: Avoid printing business cards on card stock and cutting them out yourself. Poorly cut or cheap-looking cards can deter potential customers faster than you can distribute them. Ensure your business cards are printed by a professional company for a polished and impressive finish.
- Consider Custom Die-Cut Cards: A custom die-cut card can grab attention and make a memorable impression. Show your clients that you go the extra mile by creating a card as unique as your business.
